Done in a simplifed style and in a bit of a rush. Wanted to get something done, rather than just doodle away. The basic story idea had been percolating in my head for over 30 years at this point, possibly before I saw "Hell in the Pacific", as the story was, in part inspired by the earlier book/movie "Island of the Blue Dolphin". So it was the notion of the girl alone and having to survive first. I then add a scary stranger and culture and military enemy issues and all that.
